Ringtone

I have tried to personalise my ringtone with my own mp3 file. I find it works for a short while before always defaulting back to a pre loaded standard ringtone. Does anyone know why I can't keep my personalised ringtone permanently? This is on the S21 Ultra.

@Kelado: Where is the mp3 file stored on your Galaxy S21 Ultra, and have you tried changing the storage location to see if this helps? As a further troubleshooting step, try adding an alternate mp3 file as your ringtone, just in case the issue lies with your current choice.

Many thanks, store files to device location. Have tried other mp3 files and always the same. I will try saving to another location. Thanks
