Return to home screen

Is there a way to make the phone return to the home screen after the screen turns off?  So if you unlock the phone it does not return to the last app you had open?

Try below

Go to Settings

Enter the Biometrics
and security

Select Face recognition

Draw your current pattern or type your security (PIN)

Toggle off 
Stay on Lock screen
