I have got 2 days ago my new Galaxy S21 Ultra and installed all the updates.
I have a problem and the VPN on my laptop wont connect when using mobile hostspot.
It is not a provider problem because i replaced the sim card to another phone (Huawei) and works without problem.
Please advise how can i solve this as i need it to work. I am working remotely and the VPN over hostpot is a must for me.
Thanks in advance.

I am using VPN for corporate use to access files on a private network at the company premises.
So I need it to work.
It is unacceptable a phone worth 1500euro not to be able to do do it and I can do it with a 100euro phone.
This is something that samsung will have to fix ASAP.
And why I can do it with any Huawei,Xiaomi etc. stock Android without any workaround or rooting?
It is a Samsung problem and not an Android problem.
I am not trying to share my VPN connection from my phone.
I just want to open the hotspot from my S21 Ultra and I want to connect to VPN from my laptop and not from the mobile.
The hotspot should work with a VPN, and if it doesn’t work, then you should consider switching to your VPN provider. I use VPN daily, and I use hotspot often too, but in my case, everything works perfectly. I switched my VPN 2 weeks ago, and now I’m using NordVPN, which is really good. My old VPN used to disconnect, and my network was not secure at all. I was really stressed from it, and that is why I decided to search for a new provider. I went on the internet, and after hours of searching, I was able to find a website https://bestvpnprovider.co/5-best-torrent-vpns/ that had a list of the best VPN providers for torrent. This website changed everything for me, and I hope that you will be able to find a good provider for yourself there.
