I've updated my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra to the 2nd April update and it's stable.
I appreciate that's a difficult phone model to yours @Wobdot
It csn sometimes take a short while i.e a couple of days to let the update index i.e settle.
May I suggest to try the following > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to hook up to a Computer or insert your earphones to enter into recovery mode.
If necessary back up and factory reset.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Sorry you didn't mention you cleared the phone's system file cache partition in your opening post hence my suggestion.
OK then consider Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ will help to highlight if an app or theme etc is potentially causing issues.
As well as a factory reset @Wobdot
