I just received an update to the one UI 4.0 android 12 official rollout in the UK.

You did enrol for the beta programme.

It was fine on beta , latest update played it up , seems to have settled now

I thought this wasn't a beta and expected Google pay to work..... Think it's still Samsung pay for a bit longer

 It is advisable to wipe the cache partition after updating, that being said their may still  be a few issues and  should also report via the Samsung Members app.

Possibly but if you mean at the phone level then this isn't something most users would be comfortable with
