Solution is simple. Send the edited video to your telegram app, once there then save it to your gallery. Now the sound is back on edited video. Worked for me.

It's very widely spread and annoying.

He meant, after you edit a video - save it as a copy.

Guys,
It's just a common misunderstanding about the saving process, I'll explain:
When you edit a video you have two options:
1. SAVE:
this option doesn't make the video final.
It just saves it as an editable file which can be reverted at any time.
(DON'T USE THIS OPTION IF YOU WANT TO SEND THE VIDEO ON WHATSAPP).
2. SAVE AS COPY:
this is the option you're looking for.
It finalizes the file and saves it with sound.

Of course Whatsapp can't handle the editable file correctly and it won't bother to, it's Samsung's responsibility for making the process more user friendly.

Meanwhile just use option 2, it works and your videos will be sent with sound.

Cheers!

Same here on S21.  . .. when I screen record and do no editing, no problem to share with WhatsApp.

When I use the in built Samsung Editor, do some edits (crop, trim etc), Save (rather than Save as copy) and then try to share via WhatsApp, no audio!

When I use the in built Samsung Editor, (crop, trim etc), then "Save as Copy" and then try to share that copy file via WhatsApp, then audio makes it!

I think something is hanging around the edited version where "revert" is still an option and this messes with sharing (via WhatsApp) and the audio.

Try to take a video wit the issue (did you edit it at all and simply "Save?), make one  additional small edit so that the option to "Save as copy" appears not greyed out under the three dot in edit mode, and post that copy on WhatsApp  and see if the audio makes it.

Figured it out, open video in Galleries,Hit 3dots, select open in video player and then  share the video.
