New update messing up Galaxy Buds+

Since the newest UI update, on top of some of the other problems people have pointed out, I am suffering from one problem I haven't found addressed yet.

When using my Galaxy Buds+ with my S21 phone (4 months and 8 months old each) the buds seem to glitch out a lot. One of the most regular occurrences is them blocking sound for a second when I boot up a new application or send one text via WhatsApp, though over an extended time of them being connected I have found they sometimes spontaneously disconnect, change volume, or play audio in only one ear.

I am certain it is not just my earbuds malfunctioning as they were in their case from the night I updated it to when I first encountered the problem.

Is anyone else having something like this?

I don't have any of those problems with my Buds+ and S21 Ultra. I'm running the latest Android 12 too. My Buds+ work better than the Buds 2 I purchased a few weeks back!

My advice comes from being a UK Samsung phone user.

Current Devices:
  • Samsung S21 Ultra 5G 256Gb > Model: SM-G998B/DS.
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic > Model: SM-R890NZSAEUA.
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.

Just factory reset the buds & wearable app. And set them back up.
