I have Samsung S21 FE and it has no support of Qualcomm aptx hd tws+.
TWS+ means earbud1 and earbud2 are both connected to the phone in the same time and are working independently with seemless transition.
Not having it means earbud2 is connected to earbud1 which is connected to the phone. When earbud1 is removed to a charging case, connection breaks, music stops, connection reestablishes, but music does not continue.
I have Creative Outlier Air V2, they do support tws+ and it was working flawlessly with my "other brand" smartphone.
TWS+ was there, no interruptions, good quality. Without TWS+ and APTxHD the quality is just worse.
However I discovered it is impossible to enable APtx HD tws+ on most of the Samsung phones, including flagshipd like fold.
That is very disappointing, keeping in mind the price tag, chipset that supports it, and that the technologu is pretty old and wide spread.
Can this be fixed with a firmware upgrade? How do I file a ticket to Samsung?
