Hi,

Ever since the 2nd last software update, I've been getting the moisture in charging port every time I plug it in and there is definitely not any moisture.

Had anyone else had this and how do I fix it? I've tried a soft reset and clearing the cache.

Why does the S21 series even have such a sensor? They come with an IP68 rating? Why bother with the rating if your phone becomes unusable due to such an error?

Anyway, get a tooth pic and gently poke around in the port and remove any dirt or lint that may be stuck inside.

My advice comes from being a UK Samsung iPhone user.

Current Devices:
  • iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Deep Purple
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.

@louiisegx ,Hello, reset the USB port settings. To do this, go to Settings / Applications and click on the area marked on the screenshot, Activate-Show system applications and accept. Look for the USB Settings app and in storage, delete the cache and data ,reboot the phone and check.

Use an air duster in the port and spray it out

Nothing works.
All you can do is use a wireless charger until you get it to a Samsung care centre.
I'm stuck with the same issue on holiday.
