Media transfer

I am trying to connect my phone to my computer via USB to transfer files. But it won't work. I have tried numerous different cables. I have tried different computers. My phone will charge but there is no option for media transfer. What am I doing wrong?!

You need to make sure your phone is unlocked to allow your computer access to the files. You can also change what the USB allows by clicking on the icon that appears in the notification menu.

That's the issue, there is no icon in the notification menu - it simply says "6hours until battery full".

Maybe permissions haven't been allowed as per the third photo I attached? Do you remember allowing that the first time you tried to connect your phone?

I can't remember? Maybe not because I charged it at work? Will try and change that.
