keyboard running in background.

Hi. I am trying to maximise my battery on my s21 as it runs down pretty quick. And I noticed I have samsung keyboard running in the background for 20+ hours. That must drain it. Is there anyway to turn it off?

Hello Benny22. what do you mean by " running keyboard "
The keyboard is used for evrey thing thay you type as the phone interacts with you beside the touchscreen.
if you mean the "clicking sounds" you can disable it in settings.

i am checking in my apps as well but I don't have that "Samsung keyboard " and i am using the keyboard alot becouse i am typing at work.

it is strange. there is no option to turn it off or put it to sleep either.
