Just because it works from an iPad does not mean it would necessarily work with any Android device. They use completely different code bases and streaming protocols. Check in the TV manual to see what streaming methods it does work with.

Yes, you'd think so but maybe someone from Samsung needs to remote assist and make sure one or other isn't faulty
