Just updated to the stable version of android 12  Google pay is not working,no security certificate anyone else got this problem.

Not sure if this will work for everyone but I had the same problem until 5 minutes ago.

I disabled contactless for each card and removed each card from Google Pay.

I then force closed the app, cleared the apps cache & data and then set all the cards up again.

All appears to be working now.

Strange. It worked for me. Did you try deleting Google Pay and reinstalling?

Fortunately for me, it works in my watch.  The phone though.. nope.
I guess they have not updated their security cert with google.

I was on the beta and GP wasn't working. Updated to production release this morning and still not working.

Would rather not have to do a factory reset and then restore my data.

Looks like Google have certified it now as mine is working today.

Settings, apps and go to Google play services. 3 dots and uninstall updates. Open Google pay and I should say updating. Then should work

As I mentioned on another thread today, mine still states not set up with a line through the icon, however I decided to give it a try today whilst making a purchase at a coffee shop and it worked regardless of it saying it's not set up.
