After updating January 2022 update, phone becomes too slow. Sometimes can see yellow flickering on screen. I've never seen this issue in the past 1 year, but all these are coming up after updating latest security patch.

I tried resetting phone, it didn't work.
I figured out it's with Adaptive screen refresh rate, where screen is not able to scroll smoothly. When I switch to standard, it's working as expected.

#samsung fix bug with Adaptive screen refresh in February update.

Thanks

@kkreddy

Please do try https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may also need to insert your earphones and or hook up to a laptop. No need to launch anything, just turn it on.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

This is ridiculous. Why apps which are not in use consuming 3 gb of RAM. ??????

It's not clearning up automatically. Why Samsung ? ?

Reboot the phone and it should start working ok again although it will happen again at some point.

My advice comes from being a UK Samsung iPhone user.

Current Devices:
  • iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Deep Purple
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.

Yea I know it happens again but for me it goes away for a day or two before I need to reboot my phone again. It's a bug in the January update and nothing else you do will fix it on a permanent basis.

There is a also a lag issue with the Galaxy Watch 4 when you turn on the following setting:

Watch settings > Accessibility > Visibility enhancements > Magnification

Enable the above and try entering your PIN, Dial a phone number and there is a 1-2 second lag on every key press!
