Galaxy S21 locked since 15 Days

I have my new S21 is locked. I opted for trade in at the time of purchase but never got any discount for the trade in phone so paid the full amount.

I have then decided to keep my old phone. After speaking to 22 agents - all from Philippines and numerous calls there is no sight of device being unlocked. All I'm told is they are waiting for a response from Loss & Prevention team and no clue when they might respond.

I have exchanged emails with MTR and they said Samsung is looking into this for you and they don't lock or unlock phones.

Also, since phone was locked after 28 days, i'm told i cannot return it. Any help please?

If you paid by credit card or Visa then I would initiate a charge back claim.


My advice comes from being a UK Samsung phone user.

This is now becoming normal, i have ordered Samsung TV, Microwaves, Mobiles, Tablets, etc... for over 15 years, but over the past year Samsung UK Online has become a total disaster with anything relating to returns, delivery or return issues.

I gave up raising or escalating matters to Samsung and just went via my credit card company.
However now i believe Samsung have blacklisted, absolutely useless.
