I have my new S21 is locked. I opted for trade in at the time of purchase but never got any discount for the trade in phone so paid the full amount.
I have then decided to keep my old phone. After speaking to 22 agents - all from Philippines and numerous calls there is no sight of device being unlocked. All I'm told is they are waiting for a response from Loss & Prevention team and no clue when they might respond.
I have exchanged emails with MTR and they said Samsung is looking into this for you and they don't lock or unlock phones.
Also, since phone was locked after 28 days, i'm told i cannot return it. Any help please?

If you paid by credit card or Visa then I would initiate a charge back claim.
