Feature request: 12-bit HEIF photos in auto mode

It would be great if there was an option to save photos in 12-bit HEIF format as an option in the regular shooting mode. I'm sure it would reduce the digital compression noise. It'll give the user a bit more headroom for post processing in Lightroom or other photo apps, too.

An advanced option to select the amount of file compression would also be neat. Especially for video.
