Facebook sevices battery drain

Hi all, I have an S21 Ultra and have noticed that "Facebook services" seems to drain A LOT of battery, in fact currently it's the App using most of the %. I do use Facebook occasionally and am not keen on uninstalling it, any downsides to just disabling facebook services? Also anyone else notice this?

I have s21 ultra 5g to and is not happening you have location and other things activated from the Facebook up I believed check that, best regards Alex! 😉

The Facebook app is a known resource hog unfortunately.

I have the app in my Sleep App section to curb it's activity.

Some use Facebook Lite if available in their region and or access Facebook via their browser Url.

You could try clearing the cache of the Facebook Services via Settings,  apps, Facebook Services,  location and then clear cache which might help @Co-amox

Hi AlexGbr, I keep location services and other fb related background things off all the time, but the "services" still has caused huge drain. I've disabled it now to see if that makes a noticeable difference
