Facebook notifications are very loud even though Notification level in Sound to very low

Facebook notifications are very loud even though Notification level in Sound is very low.

Is this a Facebook issue or a Samsung \ Android issue?

Any suggestions on how to approach this would be welcome.

Are they considerably louder than the other notifications on your phone? @davehorne

No, it's only notifications from Facebook that are very loud.

I have the same issue.  Facebook notification are max volume.  All others follow the set notification volume on the phone.  This is on the S22 Ultra.

I have a Zfold3 and the same issue. Anyone know of any fixes yet?
