Hi, just wondered whether any of you knew how to get the full detailed notification when you receive a message on messenger like all other notifications, all it does on my phone when I get a message is vibrate once and shows the messenger logo in the top panel and then the full notification when you swipe the panel down. I don't like the chat heads so just wondered if someone could help.

Have you tried going into messenger settings?

Yeah and the settings are the same as yours but it's annoying the message doesn't drop down when I receive a message like all other apps

@Jameswelbourn: Please try heading to Settings > Notifications > Detailed > Included Apps > Facebook Messenger, to see if this helps. If this is already enabled, tap on Advanced Settings > Floating Notifications, and select 'Smart Pop-up View'.
