The South Korean, (home of Samsung), models of the S21, G99*N, all have the Samsung Exynos 2100 chipset. 😀

Whilst understand that  several customers  have tended to have  a preference for the Snapdragon lately Exynos processors are viewed as being comparable and the 2200 looks impressive.  There have also been reports of throttling  on 8 Gen1 Tests (even if other device)  https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/snapdragon-8-gen-1-heating-issues-moto-edge-x30/

Members may  also wish to look at this thread https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/samsung-lounge/samsung-exynos-2200-is-here-all-you-need-to-know/...

The new Exynos has AMD graphics. Before slating it, let's see how it does in the real world compared to the Snap Dragon model this time for the S22 range. It will make interesting reading anyhow. It could be worse, they could have gone Mediatek and Tizen instead of Android. Either way, I had to buy a phone today (late 2021 model) so will miss out on new Gen hardware of any brand. My trusty Moto G4 has finally gone haywire.

Both chips (minus the GPU) are very similar on paper and benchmarking scores that making a judgement call at this stage is pointless. Especially if the Snapdragon is over clocking, as some initial limited testing has shown some throttling occurring from sustained use. Why would you want a device that throttles when you could just get a device with a chip that can sustain its advertised speed. Not that I'm saying the Exynos 2200 wont throttle or anything, just saying it's worthless making judgement calls prior to extensive testing.

Personally I find the Exynos 2100 to be very good now, it started off overheating very badly but after a full reset, keeping on top of software updates, clearing cache partition every month/update as well as using the Good Guardians App Booster on a weekly basis the phone handles fantastically. I also check for updates every day for apps. Besides, Snapdragon Gen 1 chips are manufactured by Samsung using their 4nm process, they're incredibly similar. Here's a quote regarding the similarities:

"The Exynos 2200 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 are very similar chips. Both are fabricated using Samsung Foundry’s 4nm LPE process and use ARM v9 CPU cores. They both use one Cortex-X2 core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. Both chips feature quad-channel LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G connectivity with up to 10Gb/s download speeds"
