No, it does not work sadly. Even if you try with South Korean VPN it will not work. It will only work (I guess) if you have a korean SIM card, or change your CSC (Country Specific Code) to one of the supported  korean ones.

Sadly "sideloading" it or manually installing it via APK is the only way (for now).

Good Lock is also region locked but that can be easily circumvented when VPN is used - this - not.

I purchased the S21 Ultra two weeks ago after much research. The clincher was the Expert Raw app. Otherwise I would have purchased an iphone. Now I find it isn't available in Europe. I have phoned and chatted several times with Samsung UK customer services. They seem to have very little connectivity with Samsung outside the UK saying the app is not theirs but a Samsung app. A week ago I escalated the issue, received an email saying I would receive a response in 24 hours. No response. The phone sits in a draw, my two year Xiaomi costing a third of the price, serves me well other than the camera. Without Expert Raw the European photo processor produces photos that are basically b----d up.
