Enter password every 72 hours

I have my phone lock set to fingerprint but every 72 hours I have to enter password, is there anyway this can be turned off, it always seems to happen when you need your phone quick !

No, it's a security feature and should request the password every 24 hours.

It always seems to happen when you are standing in a queue to pay for something or in a room full of people, just makes it easier for someone to see your password.

Change your unlock type from password to pin or pattern, much quicker👍

I think it should ask for every 5 mins. What a lame excuse.

In my opinion, this is the opposite  and weakens security:

When a password is asked too frequently, people (including me) tend to switch to weak and therefore unsecure passwords.

When fingerprint is not save, samsung should tell us straight away, but they tell us that it is save for 72 hours, and then, miraculously, not anymore, what a joke!
