Drop in picture quality in s21

My s21 has updated the software with many recent updates during the summer. I now realize that the updates have degraded the picture style on my camera w less saturation and flatter photos with less contrast and vibrance without the possibility to adjust this myself. 

It used to take much better photos than my wife's iPhone, but now it is much worse

Are updates deliberately degrading picture quality to drive sales of newer phone models?

Yes! Something weird and very annoying is going on! I was beginning to think the lens was faulty in my device but maybe it's the app itself. It's now very hard to get the wide angle lens to focus on anything that is not super close. Any objects which are maybe 2-3 foot away of further are now out of focus. I have tried pro mode and can 100% replicate this every time. My wife's 5 year old iPhone now takes better photos most of the time. Getting close to throwing this away and buying something else.

Hey,noticed this aswell on my s20 ultra 5g. If u head to the pro mode on the camera the manual focus does not adjust beyond 0.6
