Hi everyone and a happy new year....

I just wanted to ask is it a good idea to put apps in deep sleeping mode on the apps you don't use as there's won't receive app updates and dose putting apps in sleep mode and deep sleep really save battery 🔋? s21 5g

HI @WBENSTOCK I would say it is advisable to put some apps in deep sleeping mode, it will save on Battery and Data.  This is more akin to hibernation and Notfications and updates will not be received until the app is manually opened.  However you do need to a bit careful of the apps you put in this mode.  See more here https://support.homegauge.com/hc/en-us/articles/360062096754-Android-11-Battery-Optimization-and-Sam...

I certainly choose to put some app in sleep and deep sleep @WBENSTOCK 

It has the ability to save some battery as this lessens background activity,  however I do this to also stop as many notifications coming through too.

I put loads into deep sleep... I don't need/want loads of apps running in the background
