Custom launcher issues with Android 11 and OneUI 3

Do we have any news from Samsung about fixing custom launchers, like Nova Launcher, with not 'sticking'/persisting and OneUI coming back instead? Was working fine under Android 10 and OneUI 2.x.

You won't, it's up to Nova to make their product work on Android 11.

I don't see how it's down to Samsung as other manufacturers devices also have problems.

Sounds like an issue with Android 11 then. 😞 Tried to research what the impact is across suppliers but really struggled to see if it was other phones too.

I had a very quick look and OnePlus and Pixels are in the list. It seems Google is making changes and some devices work.

currently using Nova 7, so far so good seems more stable not had any issues with moving back to OneUi, nova version 7.019

Hi I downloaded Nova from playstore version then set up the way I wanted Nova to look, then I went to apkmirror and downloaded latest beta version7.0.19, and installed this, I also ensured I ticked nova as preffered launcher hope this helps, BTW I'm running android 11
