Changing USB settings on Galaxy S21

Currently when I plug in my Galaxy S21 to my laptop it only charges and doesn't offer option to transfer files etc. I have searched around online for answers and a lot of advice relates to clicking on the 'Developer options' option in Settings, but this does not seem to exist on my phone. Any advice?

Try different cable, restart your mobile, clean your port and also try connecting your mobile in safe mode. To booting into safe mode, turn off and turn on, when you see the Samsung logo keep pressing the volume down key.

Settings > about phone > software information > click on build number 10 times to activate developer option under settings right at the bottom.

Don't play with it too much if you are not sure what you are doing.
