Change background in photos with Big Circle

I took some photos with my Ultra 21 in Portrait Mode on one i can use what is called Big Circle it will make background out of focus, you can see the icon on the photo, but the next photo wont show it.

One photo shows 6 icons to edit photos the other only 5 icons, cant figure out why i cant use the Big Circle icon on my other photos, all taken at the same time and in portrait mode.

Any help would be great thank you.

@Members_AW1F7F2: Are you making sure to stay within 1.5 metres of the subject, and that it says 'Ready' at the top of the view finder before you capture the image?
