Hi,

I have had an issue with my Vodafone Samsung S21 Ultra (UK 5G) for the past month or 2.

When I dial a phone number, I can't hear the other person (and I think they can't hear me) at all.

If I dial that same number a second time, it works!! Weird.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've read somewhere that it could be a 5G issue but not sure.

Thnx

Yeah, I somethimes also encounter the same problem (using the Galaxy A42 5G). The thing is that I have been speaking to a friend who cannot hear me, or I can't, but when speaking to my mum straight after my friend call, I can clearly hear her and she as well. I don't know how that works? I'm using the O2 5G network

Yeah, it's really annoying and there are a lot of other people saying they have the same issue on samsung phones.

Some say it could be WIFI Calling, some say it's because of bad 5G...

I have no issue.

I actually contacted Vodafone UK and they said calls have nothing to do with 5G. Actually calls are using 4G or below and 5G is only for data. I have made some research online and it seems it is true. I didn't know that.
Weirdly, after I switched off 5G, I started being able to hear people, so back to square one.
