@scaryk: Can you try swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom and enabling Sync via the Quick Panel, then opening the Calendar app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the downward facing arrow to the right of the relevant account e.g. Samsung account > Make sure the calendar is ticked, then hit 'Sync Now' at the bottom of the screen.
