I have a Tesla Model 3 and the voice recognition will not work, so when I press the voice recognition button on the wheel and say "call John Smith" it will not work. It seems the phonebook does not transfer as the list is blank when I go to the contacts screen (settings are switched on to allow this). There must be a setting somewhere that I'm missing as I took the phone into a local phone store and explained the issue, it worked for 1 week after that. I've since switched my phone off and it has reverted back to not working. Unfortunely the guy I took it to has left the store so I'm back to square one. Any ideas??

Hi,
Try Below

Let your voice open Google Assistant

On your Android phone or tablet, go to Assistant settings, or open the Google Assistant app. and say, “Assistant settings.”

Under "Popular settings," tap Voice Match.

Turn on Hey Google. If you don't find Hey Google, turn on Google Assistant
