I have the S21 ULTRA 256, exynos, and I installed BBS and want to know what drain my battery.

In Kernel Wakelock, I have 19f00000.decon_0 process with high usage.

Someone else has this process ?

Nothing on Google about it.

what's the point in installing something if you have no clue what to make of it?
Hope somebody can help ya.

You might be better off heading to XDA forums, they have a topic on this which might benefit you.

Just understand. Other process are common and comprehensive, this one not.

What's the point to answer to a post if you can't help. Just comment for nothing.

I suspect it is connected to the function of the phones display ,and from the following links decon stands for display and enhancement controller. Check out the following links

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/13800000-decon_fb-wakelock.2936445/

and this one  ( search for decon  on the page)

https://www.anandtech.com/show/9330/exynos-7420-deep-dive/3

and this one ( bit out of date)

@steve0

Thanks. Really helpful.

So if it's a display process, I suppose that's normal.

But I'm not sur that this process must to be in the top of the battery drain process.

I don't think that represents  the battery percentage, it it the percentage of the    total accumulated time of the wakelock  acquirement in relation to the battery time since being unplugged . You can check it yourself to confirm it from your attachment above, 1hr16min43secs divided  by 5hrs14min29secs  *100 =24.3%.

So in that case , although it will be using power , I don't think it represents   24% of the battery
