Yes I have cleared the cache , yes I have done the unistall play thing , yes I have factory reset after Every recent Samsung update ... Guess I will be looking elsewhere when it comes to upgrade time

Did you by any chance download the apps from the Samsung Galaxy store? If so, try updating from there. Just a thought.

Ergh that sucks..not sure what's going on there. Have you tried uninstalling updates and going from there (both without updates and then installing updates)
