Base S21 battery life

My S21 has poor battery life but I've seen people getting 7 hours SoT with one charge. For comparison my A70 would get 9 hours SoT and my friend's A51 gets well over 7 hours SoT. 

For more context, I'm using the S21 how I used my A70

What?! I get 4 hours sot by the time my phone gets to 50% on the base model S21. Definitely a fault, try wiping the cache on it. If that doesnt work reboot in safe mode (it blocks all apps you have downloaded, so then u can see if it is a bad app causing the battery drain). If not I would recommend, taking it to where you bought it from so they can send it to Samsung for repair.

I regret trading in my Galaxy S10+ for this S21.  Big mistake.  Not an upgrade at all.  I'm thinking about rolling back to the Galaxy S8 collecting dust on my shelf...

Social media apps are heavy on the battery due to unlimited scrolling.

1. Go into app settings and disable auto video loading on both FB and Instagram.

2. Check permissions manager for locations and turn ' only use when app opened' as opposed to always unless you really need it like maps and stuff.

3. Screen brightness is another battery hogger so keep it on auto or Adaptive.

Lot of videos on you tube you can check out and tweak it to your liking.
