AUJ7, Android 11, NOVEMBER Security update for U.K.

[UPDATE Thursday, 28th October]

This latest release is the 19th stock Android 11 update for the Global, Exynos, S21 series and is currently being rolled out by Samsung for stock, unbranded, U.K. devices on CSC code = BTU and carrier branded phones on EE on CSC code EVR.

This update is for device security.

Initially, as always, this is a staged roll out to the non-carrier branded, stock Samsung CSC codes first.

The Galaxy S21 Global, Exynos, devices that will receive this update are...

• S21 5G model SM-G991B
• S21+ 5G model SM-G996B
• S21 Ultra 5G model SM-G998B

This latest release replaces the previous G99*BXXU3AUIE build.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, you can connect to the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch and check via that.

This update is now available for the U.K. unbranded devices on CSC code = BTU and U.K. carrier, EE on CSC code = EVR

Hopefully, this early roll-out for November, signals that Samsung are clearing the decks for an imminent roll-out of the stock Android 12, One UI 4, to the S21 series.

To-date, (17.00hrs BST, 28/10/21) Samsung have pushed out this firmware to 80+ countries/carriers worldwide. Looks as though they are trying to clear the decks for Android 12.

• Vodafone = CSC code VOD
• O2 = CSC code O2U
• Three = CSC code H3G

5 days after the release of AUJ7 in the U.K. it is now the turn of the Three carrier branded S21 devices, (CSC code H3G), to receive their update.

Nothing so far in the U.K. for the following carrier branded S21 devices...

• Vodafone = CSC code VOD
• O2 = CSC code O2U

A week after the release of AUJ7 in the U.K. it is now the turn of the Vodafone carrier branded S21 devices, (CSC code VOD), to receive their update.

Samsung are now pushing out this update to U.K. carrier branded phones for O2 on CSC code = O2U.
