Apps not downloading/updating

Recently I have noticed apps not auto updating on my phone from the Play Store..I've spoken to Google and Samsung and done all the troubleshooting possible. Basically, the apps download but don't actually install. Has anyone else had this and do you have a fix for it?

Under device care turn off Device Protection. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure really.

Haven't got mcAfee, disabled it long ago, use Bitdefender and have tried with that disabled, no luck

Got this problem too.. I have tried reset Phone and turn off the anti-virus like some suggests.. nothing helps here..

Device model is SM-G991B/DS

Kinda see this as a security flaw, since important security updates for apps will be delayed. 

Hope this will be taken care of soon
