Android 13 one ui 5

So after a week or so the new update has caused a huge toll on the battery

I don't even use it heavily 

And I make sure I have bixby routine on at night oe when indoors.

I make sure location I'd only on via bixby option.

Brightness isn't to high either 

Turned off dolby atmos as I am nit a gamer 

So it's a pity really as I do enjoy one ui 5 but this is it just like how mu s10 plus when a huge upgrade 

Regardless if having a phone 18 months now still doesn't justify why the android with new one ui causes headache on s21 plus battery 

I regret for even upgrading

If wiping the phones cache partition doesn't work. Sometimes a factory reset really does help after a big os update. Make sure to back up first.

Ok thanks the thing with reset I can't backup WhatsApp which is a pain in the butt loll It never restores the chat backup so I am bit wary

If you go into WhatsApp and tap on the 3 dots on the top right
Go into settings
Then chats
Down the bottom is chat backup. Just tap on this.
At the bottom You can also select to backup videos as well
May take a while if its not been backed up for a long time.

Installing the app from fresh, it will give you the option to restore, which will be from your backup.

Honestly, yes it is good for the s21 battery capacity. 6 hours and 6 mins on screen time and 9 hours 44 mins off screen time I would be happy with. Considering Instagram and tik tok are quite heavy on battery.

Thank you so much yep I use thr s21 plus I had s21 originally which was faulty EE couldn't give the same replacement so they gave the plus instead lol
