Everyone is talking about this beta update, and I would like to download it. But I can't find the registration link? Could it be because I'm on a carrier branded Rom?

The Beta appears to be pretty stable - I've not encountered any major issues and seems to be the concensus of most who have it, so I'd expect it to be on course for official launch on S22's in the next couple of months (Q4), S21's will follow shortly after *
* being that following it's official launch then network providers will roll it out at their own pace following adaption & optimisation for their devices....which can be days...or weeks.

You can but going to the extent of flashing the firmware to a BTU variant, risk of turning the handset into a novelty paperweight, re-installing all apps, data etc just to opt into the Beta programme is somewhat extreme vs. waiting a few months for an official stable release.

Flashing BTU firmware won't change the CSC. There's a pc tool which can change it though for free.

It used to be possible but isn't anymore. From A.11 security policies prevent a permanent change to a CSC code being made. Reflashing with a variant of BTU firmware will change the CSC code as it's just that- a replacement of the whole Firmware on the device.
No tool can change the CSC on an S21 / 22 without FW change, and that includes all of the service centre tools, flasher boxes and non-public 'back door' / direct to circuitboard tools I use within my DF role.

Well I've changed mine from BTU TO DBT AND THEN BACK TO BTU TO ACCESS BETA. Downloading BTU firmware and flashing over DBT got example won't change the CSC, it'll still be DBT after flashing.

So basically you softcoded a region change and then back to the original CSC - which has I said can be done but isn't permanent.

As for the Firmware flashing and it not changing the CSC then i think we'll agree to differ but with 15 years+ experience of mobile & digital forensics, L.E specifc trained in the use of service centre tools, flasher boxes (and other tools/methods that we shall not go into), chip off/chip on data decoding, decryption and re-coding, manufacturer specifc training (including Samsung), and changing the firmware / configuration of too many handsets to recall (from 8mb Nokia 3310's to S22's) then I can assure you a flashed Firmware (if done correctly) changes the CSC - I've even stood in court and shown as such....and the defence expert also agreed!
Oh, and I'm also a S.M.E and trainer in mobile D.F's.

BTU isn't my original CSC code so I've used 2 different CSC codes besides my original. I've used DBT because it's always 1st to get updates but had to change to BTU so I could register and install the beta. Using Odin to flash firmware WILL NOT change the CSC, hasn't for a long time. And what do you mean by my CSC change isn't permanent? It won't change after a factory reset, it won't change after a software update or a reboot. It'll stay BTU until I decide to change it again with the tool I have on my pc.

I usually have a phone through EE and have been able to get the beta invites fine. Is this a new thing?
