Always on display

My s21 ultra always on display function isn't always on display during the night meaning I have to press a button to see the time, all settings are on for AOD can anyone help with this please

Its set show always, I've even checked my settings with someone who has the same phone and my settings mirror his but his doesn't go off during the night

I don't use bixby and haven't activated it

Under apps, goto 'always on display ' and check if ' Change system settings' is allowed.

Are apps updated both in galaxy store and playstore?

If Yes no harm in trying a 'wipe cache' and see if it helps.
