108MP and 40MP Camera option

Hi

Just noticed that there is a 40MP option on the 3.4 for the selfie camera.

Has this always been or is it a new addition?

Bear in mind I am not a selfie shooter so may have not noticed before .

108MP has been there for the Main Camera.

Hello,

yes, it has always been there since the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G launch only for Ultra models.

As well as you have the full resolution on the rear main camera (108 MP as you've already noticed) you have the full resolution for the selfie camera too.

First I thought they had downgradrd6the 108MP to 40MP and then realised I was in selfie mode.
