WiFi reconnection issue

If I manually turn off WiFi on my S20 then try to reconnect even to the same network WiFi does not work.  I have to reboot the phone to turn WiFi back on.

Have tried turning WiFi on and off, reset network connections.

Try wiping the cache partition on the phone and that should resolve the issue. To do this, just search 'how to wipe cache partition S20' and you should find what you are looking for 🙂. Hope this helps! 😎

@stephenlg: Next time you connect to your Wi-Fi, head to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap the cog to the right of your router info > Auto Reconnect, and toggle this option on to see if this helps. If not, are you toggling off Wi-Fi via the Quick Panel, by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom, or via the toggle in Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi? Is this affecting all Wi-Fi connections, or just certain ones?

Thanks that worked.  Important when you restart in recovery mode (using Android 11) and single volume control you need to be connected to a PC otherwise S20+ always restarts without going to recovery.
