Why are my photos coming out like this with the flash on? S20 Ultra

My phone is less than 1 year old, it isnt damaged so what is going on?

Is it in a case? As some case cause the flash to reflect off the plastic cover.

maybe the aperture is jammed. gently but firmly, tap the side of your phone off your hand, in case some obtrusive object has jammed it, then try again. if you get the same result, book it in to have it checked out.

Have you tried clearing the cache? It may be an issue with the camera app, rather than a physical fault. Do a backup, hard reset your phone, and reinstall everything.

just finished the factory reset and unfortunately its still the same, thanks for your advice though. It appears some other users are having the same issue since the update 😕 got this phone for the camera and its had nothing but issues since launch with the focus, and now the flash...
