WhatsApp Video causes phone to restart

Issues with WhatsApp video calling.

I am experiencing issues where during video calls on WhatsApp, my phone does a soft restart. This has only started happening after the UI 5.0 update. Phone has the latest update, and WhatsApp is the latest version.

Has anyone else experiencing similar problems? Thanks!

Do a system cache hold down power and volume, or it might be overheating the device so might need a app update

Mine has just started doing this too! Done it twice this evening while I was on a call, had to give up in the end

I confirm the problem appeared after the last November update.
During a conversation through VoWiFi(Voice over Wi-Fi) or conversations through WhatsApp, the voice of the interlocutor disappears, and after a while the phone goes into reboot.

Bro did you solve the problem? Because i bought a s23 ultra and whenever i have a call it reboots itself

This has also been happening to me for a few months but is not yet fixed after a recent OTA update.

It happens on video calls in Slack huddles, Zoom calls and also Signal video calls.

Phone is a Galaxy A70 model SM-A705MN, s/w A705MNXXS5DWD1.
