Whatsapp video bug issue

I have a problem with the video playback in whatsapp.

Whenever I watch a video someone has sent me it's never Full screen!

The bottom left and right of the screen is black and I can't seem to fix it.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

This is a weird problem.
Have you tried backing up the WhatsApp chats and reinstall WhatsApp. Wonder if there's some issue with the app.
Are your other apps OK?
Things like YouTube, Instagram etc

I've done exactly that already.

All other apps work great. Just WhatsApp has this issue.

That's the problem with newts unfortunately. Good thing I'm young and can carry it lol.

Did whatsapp do the same on your phone?

It even happens with youtube videos being played through WhatsApp. Really odd

I need an EQ mount for astrophotography as well. Can get quick snaps, but want to do more long exposures.
Can't adapt mine.

Wonder if you turn it off for WhatsApp, if this would help

Yea I'm thinking the same as the tracking is awful with my mount. Way too much wobble for astro photography.

I believe darkframe optics have a conversion kit to replace the cogs for belts and pulleys but it's for the white version not the black one.

You should watch astrobiscuit on YouTube if you don't already, he's pretty much covered mounts and eq'ing the mounts.

I'll have a look at your suggestion and let you know.
