Videos on WhatsApp

Just recently, when I send a video (which I recorded)to WhatsApp, the quality is no where near the same as it is in my gallery, any ideas why?,thanks.

Try in WhatsApp - 2 dots top right, settings, scroll to storage and data then bottom photo upload and change to high

WhatsApp is a facebook thing, facebook itself runs mostly with 720p videos resolution. And in facebook settings it does say 'HD' and that is exactly 720p. So i would not be surprised if you can't go with 1080p and definitely not with 4K nor 8K. That being said, Facebook resizes all videos and photos to potato quality 😅
