Using NFC tag as Smart Lock?

Due to the home location very rarely working to unlock, is it possible to use an external NFC tag (maybe stuck to rear of watch??) as a trusted device, or does it need to be a Bluetooth device?

Re; home location, Google maps has correct address & location on map. I've saved additional trusted places at my home (in UK), but when I recheck, they've moved randomly 1/4 mile in any direction. I have "improved accuracy" selected in my location settings too.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, NFC can work as a trusted device.

I have found the same that location changes so I have 3 settings for my home location but it's still hit or miss. It isn't always reliable using Bluetooth, either.

NFC can be used but its not so secure.. unlike UWB.. Samsung has out UWB in our phones which is almost like NFC but much more secure.. & much more accurate. you can set your home WiFi as a trusted area & your phone will unlock once it connects to that specific WiFi you set it for

Thanks @Bradleigh

I'm not sure my standard S20 has UWB.

There's certainly no option under Add trusted device for UWB or any other WiFi option, all seem to be bluetooth.

Am I looking in the right place do you think?
