Update has ruined the camera

I have just updated my galaxy s20 plus and everything looks great bar the camera, it is blurry and absolutley awful looking.

It doesn't focus at all and needs fixed. This is a mess. Anyone else had this issue since the update?

Hello,

this appears to be most likely hardware problem of your device.

Try doing the Mega Cam dialing *#0*# on Phone application and see if the camera doesn't focus or shots blurry pictures.

I did that and the camera test took 3 pics but the last one went red and didn't focus.

I mean everything was perfect until the latest update. What should I do? Does Samsung monitor these issues or have patches? I'm a bit peeved this happened

The failure of at least one test means that the camera system is suffering on an hardware problem, so you cannot solve by yourself.

Get in contact with Samsung Support and discover the best solution to get a reparation for your device 👍

yes the original issue I had is still not resolved. Samsung obviously couldn't care less. This new issue with the bright camera flash ruining more pictures just makes this camera the worst I've ever had. So glad I have the S20 plus but camera is just the worst now

I have the same problem! the phone is very expensive and I've bought it mostly for the camera. did you manage to solve it ?

Yes  there is a flash issue for the last month now since the update. Samsung are yet to put out a fix. Best you can do is send error reports and more importantly contact them on social media. Eg twitter with the #fixmycamera. The more people that make noise the quicker the update should be. They are ignoring the issue until then and brushing off their customers.

unfortunatley not and I have no to officially include samsung to let them know this as it shows I am not the only one being effected by this.

definatley seems like it, no fix since december is awful. seems like they don't care at all
