UI3.0 on S20 with dual SIM

So I got the UI 3.0 update a week or so ago and looks great on my S20 Ultra.

However, I am now stuck with having to specify which SIM to use for calls (calls can actually ask each time - this alone messes up the car connection with it not being able to connect to make a call unless i ILLEGALLY touch my phone) and SMS with no obvious way to change.

So in effect I now have a phone with 2 SIMS but without the usability I signed up for.

Anyone figured out how to work this one out? or downgrade UI 3.0?

@Gaingi - "no" ?????? WOW...you are NOT making any sense, very CONFUSED and contradicting yourself!!!! First you say you are against this issue like EVERYONE else...and now you are supporting Samsung's stupidity!!!!  You seem very LOST and should READ AGAIN!!

What I ment is:
This UI is better then teh previuos one because it make hard to make mistakes that can cost money.
But I understand what are your complain about and I give my (unrequested) suggestion.
If you propose to Samsung with something that doesn't works you never get thing done.
If this post is just to complain, that's fine.
But if you want an UI that's fit your need, you should propose something new that fit my need also. If Samsung has moved to a new solution, they will never go back to the old one. Only to a newest

This is very very exciting and glad to hear Samsung finally came to their senses!

For about 9 months, as a temp solution, I reverted back to Android 10, UI 2.5 ....and have been daily checking Samsung Community threads patiently waiting like all us for the good news shared today by @Elles93

Like many others, I cannot risk to update my software to Android 11, UI 3.x until I see evidence that this issue has truly been resolved for both Samsung Calls App and Samsung Messages App

Can we have ppl here on Android 11, 3.x please help attempt to update and provide us with screenshots of the software update information that shows update version and most importantly screenshots of Samsung Calls (Dialer) and Samsung Messages app. It would be helpful see evidence showing 2 separate buttons SIM1 + SIM2 for Calls and Messages.

I have a galaxy a71 and it's been fixed for me. Now I just need to hold the call button that I get the 2 sims to choose from. I'm running android 11 one UI 3.1

@Brenomirisola- ummm I think you are confused .... your feedback confirms this issue is NOT fixed and looks like we have false information from @Elles93 ....

holding the call button to get the 2 sims was always there in Android 11, UI 3.x.

we are expecting Samsung to bring back both SIM1 + SIM2 buttons for Samsung Calls App (Dialer) and Samsung Messages App WITHOUT HOLDING .....like how it was in Android 10, UI 2.5....once Samsung brings this back , ONLY THEN we can say this issue is fixed

Can we please get some screenshots ?!!! @Elles93 - requesting you to please confirm and show us some evidence

AMAZING NEWS for ALL OF US !!! (well everyone but @ElfStone ) -- Samsung has finally fixed this issue.

Our friend @AemJay from Sumsung Germany Community has helped "confirmed that the issue is indeed fixed with the recent October 2021 update" !!!!!

Can anyone here help validate and confirm if this news is real and after you have deployed October update, please provide screenshots here so we can use as evidence ? we would like to see both Samsung Calls (Phone Dialer) and Samsung Messages (SMS) app finally have returned both dual SIM1 + SIM2 buttons for Android 11, UI 3.x !!!!
