Galaxy S20 SeriesSo I got the UI 3.0 update a week or so ago and looks great on my S20 Ultra.
However, I am now stuck with having to specify which SIM to use for calls (calls can actually ask each time - this alone messes up the car connection with it not being able to connect to make a call unless i ILLEGALLY touch my phone) and SMS with no obvious way to change.
So in effect I now have a phone with 2 SIMS but without the usability I signed up for.
<sarcasm>Well played Samsung, well played </sarcasm>
Anyone figured out how to work this one out? or downgrade UI 3.0?

Galaxy S20 Series@GalaxyMac - this is not a solution!!! Your workaround is terrible and NOT acceptable!!!!
@snee - why did you accept GalaxyMac's response as an "accepted solution"???!!!
Please see my earlier response showing real solution on how to get back both Dual SIM1 + SIM2 buttons for calls and messages!!!!

Galaxy S20 SeriesJust got the update, too and noticed this! Remembering to go view the recipient's profile and through these extra steps everytime I'm about to send text is exhausting, when i used to just be able to select which send button to press depending which network i choose. Setting the default network via Contacts doesn't work either. It resets to the network the recipient used to send the message. Since i haven't noticed it quickly, i got charged using international text rates to reply. Such a sneaky change! There's even no mention of it in the software update notes! 😡

Galaxy S20 SeriesI did it like this and it still resets to the other network which i did not set as default.

Galaxy S20 Series@snee - why did you accept @GalaxyMac's response a solution?....it is NOT an accepted solution!! please revserve it!!!
@GalaxyMac - requesting you to please delete your reply showing "accepted solution" .....it is contradicting everyone's complaint on this big issue!!!!

Galaxy S20 Series@DualSIMNote10Plus I didn't accept anything as a solution - obviously ANOTHER messed up Samsung thing. I have however removed that from the post.
I do have an accepted solution: I've sold my Samsung and gone to another Phone make - the fact that Samsung don't care about us makes me not want to spend £1k+ on their phones.

Galaxy S20 Series@snee - Thank you Sir!!! And I agree with you 100%.....IF Samsung does not fix this issue then I will just sell my Dual SIM Note 10+ to someone that has a need to use only 1 SIM and they can use the 2nd slot for an SD Card....meanwhile, I will move to a Dual SIM Google Pixle or Huawei or (hate to say) iphone.....but never again Samsung
Since i left blackberry 5 years ago...I have been loyal to Samsung for all my past devices....Note 9, Note 10+ (which I dropped and broke) so I bought another Note10+.....so far i have invested over $3000 for these 3 Samsung Note devices and I have been extremely satisfied with all my Samsung devices, until now with Samsung removing the Dual SIM buttons for calls and messages is a major issue...our Dual SIM devices are useless for the purpose of Dual SIM calling and messaging...it is important and critical for so many Dual SIM users to keep SIM1 (ie. Work) separate from SIM 2 (ie. Personal) for PRIVACY, SECURITY and BUSINESS EXPENSE reasons....and the fact that Samsung is ignoring us shows they show no loyalty to their Dual SIM Customers. DISRESPECT!

Galaxy S20 SeriesI agree
Samsung A70 with UI3.1 just update and the dual icon is gone, very disappointing!!

Galaxy S20 Series@pecche801 - to get both Dual SIM1 + SIM2 buttons back for calls and messages, just revert back to Android 10, UI 2.5.....
You will have to follow similar instructions in link below that show accepted solution for Note 10+, but you will need to find the authentic Samsung software files for your A70

Galaxy S20 SeriesAs DualSIMNote10Plus says, you can go searching for the correct firmware files for your phone and flash an old software version, or do as I have and ditch Samsung - I now have a Motorola Edge+ costing <£300 that does everything I need, and as it's a low-cost expense (compared to the >£1500 Samsung!), I can root it to get rid of ads totally and be empowered to change ROMs as new ones are developed.

Galaxy S20 SeriesI guess I'll just buy another Android phone.
This problem still hasn't been fixed and it's overcomplicating my life enough to make want to look for a better solution.
Thanks Samsung! Been a customer since Galaxy S1.
