UI3.0 on S20 with dual SIM

So I got the UI 3.0 update a week or so ago and looks great on my S20 Ultra.

However, I am now stuck with having to specify which SIM to use for calls (calls can actually ask each time - this alone messes up the car connection with it not being able to connect to make a call unless i ILLEGALLY touch my phone) and SMS with no obvious way to change.

So in effect I now have a phone with 2 SIMS but without the usability I signed up for.

<sarcasm>Well played Samsung, well played </sarcasm>

Anyone figured out how to work this one out? or downgrade UI 3.0?

Go into the contacts app and you can select which SIM calls any given contact by default. A great way to separate work and personal contacts

Does anyone know if there are any plans to reintroduce the old system? Depending on the circumstances, I use one SIM or the other with the same contact...

I use different sim to make call depends on the location, UI 3.0 has no direct icon to dial with 2nd sim, it fails, i need to look for 3rd party apps now. such a stupid design.

Samsung, please bring back the older way of using dual sim. we all use our phones in different ways but being forced to choose a default sim for each contact is not a flexible!!!

Totally agree, I updated this just now and got served this useless design where i cant choose anymore which sim I want for a call . I live in 2 countries and choose the local sim when making calls. This is stupid!! Has Samsung never heard of " don't fix it if it's working" 🤬

Agree. old way was better when you were able to select sim and call back from the SIM on which you received a call.

samsung needs to officially acknowledge this thread and address this horrific update on dual sim. I would also like to know what data they had that would make change the functionality of dual sim use.
