Type-C Adapter Dongle Not Supported by Galaxy S20?

Hi,

I have just this week switched from my Huawei p20 Pro to the S20 and I have a Type-c dongle (split for aux and charger) and I keep getting the message that it is not supported on the phone. 

Is this because it is a splitter or because it is not a Samsung official accessory? If so could I just order a cheap aux only dongle from eBay as I'd rather pay what's its worth (£2-£3) than what they are charging from Samsung.

Hi there, I am facing exact same issue on my S20 I have got recently. I am using a dongle I got with my OnePlus phone which works on any device but this one.

I have seen few videos on youtube that only Samsung branded USB dongle would work on this phone. Also, my old charger from OnePlus does not charge this S20.

I've got the same problem brought a splitter on ebay only to get device not supported xx
